The DC Tester is a Voltage and Ampere breakout for measuring DC current.
The DC Tester is a Voltage and Ampere breakout for measuring DC current from 0-26V at 3.2A Max (when used with the USB Tester OLED Backpack). The DC jacks make it easy to measure a wide variety of devices by placing it inline between your power supply and your project without splicing cables, just like the USB Tester. Then you can probe the voltage or current with your DMM (Digital Multimeter).
If you have a OLED Backpack, this will allow you to swap it out with the USB Tester, view the output on the display as well as data log it with the Wizkers.io Chrome app.
Note: Due to the wide voltage ranges of the DC Tester, the OLED Backpack will need its own power source. It can be your computer, a phone charger or a USB Battery pack.
Monitor DC voltage 0-26V and current up to 3.2A. Uses DC jacks to easily interface with your projects. Male headers and banana plugs are available for voltage and current test points for use with your DMM. Header connections for the OLED Backpack. Uses the Dangerous Prototypes standard PCB size
2x DC jacks, center positive (2.1mm ID, 5.5mm OD)
1x 10pin male header (longer)
1x 5pin male header (standard)
1x Jumper (for use when measuring voltage with a DMM, bridges current header pins, top 2pin set)
Digital Multimeter - Either clips, standard sized probes or banana plugs.
Depending on how you use it, you may need to do some soldering. The soldering is pretty easy to do. For an additional fee, we’re happy to solder for you, just be sure to select the option before adding to your cart.
